On “Near Future” Vancouver, BC-based veteran DJ Jay Zoney drops four cuts of up-to-date, groove-oriented Techno with a healthy amount of Acid and Progressive elements to blow up any dance floor they’re dropped on. ‘The Meltdown’ and ‘Tears In the Rain’ are solid groovers that follow an epic tension build and release styles for set peaks. These are backed up by the grinding builder ‘Hunter Seeker (Searching For Love Mix) and the melodic flow of ‘Lovely Sweet Doves’ brings the EP to a close.
